‘Appendizitis’ or ‘Blinddarmentzündung’? As a foreign doctor or health care professional you have to face numerous linguistic challenges every single day. For example, taking the right tone in different situations. The medical environment entails a whole variety of communication requirements. A general language examination cannot really meet these as a result. That is why a subject-specific German test was developed especially for foreign doctors and health care professionals: telc German B2/C1 Medicine!
This examination is tailored exactly to the linguistic context in hospitals and health care facilities. At the same time, the focus is on typical communication situations from everyday medical life and is therefore far more meaningful than a general language examination. You do not have to reel off any grammar or vocabulary but can show that you can apply them correctly and appropriately in your everyday working environment. Attend our preparation course over three or six months and go into the examination relaxed and well prepared.
You evidence the following subject-specific skills with the telc German B2 C1 Medicine language certificate:
- Successfully conducting doctor and patient consultations
- Effectively communicating with health care personnel
- Writing standardised doctor’s letters
- Absorbing specialist medical language
